Mortgage Advisor
We are seeking to employee one full-time Mortgage Advisor on a pro rata basis. The SOC code of Mortgage advisor is 2422. For Mortgage Advisor we will pay at the rate £ 33000.00 to £ 41000.00 per year considering their experience and qualifications. The Mortgage Advisor will be having relevant experience and qualification and will be responsible for the proper functioning of the mortgage service and will supervise the team as required, will have clear and good communication skills and will be a team player. Duties and responsibilities are mentioned below.
• Provide Expert Mortgage Advice: Offer professional guidance to clients, assessing their financial situation, goals, and preferences to recommend suitable mortgage products. Stay updated on the latest mortgage products, interest rates, and regulations to provide accurate and relevant advice.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and cultivate strong relationships with clients, fostering trust and confidence. Understand their unique requirements, communicate effectively, and provide ongoing support throughout the mortgage process, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
• Mortgage Application Management: Manage a pipeline of mortgage applications from initial consultation to completion. Ensure all required paperwork, documents, and supporting information are collected, verified, and submitted accurately and in a timely manner. Collaborate with clients, lenders, solicitors, and other professionals to facilitate a smooth transaction.
• Liaison and Coordination: Act as a liaison between clients and relevant parties involved in the mortgage process, including lenders, solicitors, surveyors, and insurance providers. Communicate effectively and promptly, addressing any queries, resolving issues, and ensuring all parties are aligned for a seamless mortgage experience.
• Market Awareness: Stay up to date with the latest trends, changes, and developments in the mortgage market. Remain informed about new products, interest rates, and regulatory requirements to provide clients with accurate and relevant information.
• Networking and Lead Generation: Attend networking events, industry conferences, and seminars to build relationships with local estate agents, developers, and other professionals. Actively promote services, generate leads, and contribute to the growth of the business.
• Target Achievement: Work towards individual and team targets, meeting or exceeding key performance indicators (KPIs) and business objectives. Continuously strive to enhance productivity and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
Requirements:
1. CeMAP qualified (or equivalent).
2. Proven track record as a Mortgage Advisor, demonstrating exceptional customer service skills and successful achievement of targets.
3. In-depth knowledge of mortgage products, including buy-to-let, first-time buyer, and remortgage options.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capability to build rapport with clients and professionals at all levels.
5. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, ensuring accurate completion of paperwork and adherence to deadlines.
6. Proactive and self-motivated approach, with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team.
7. Current knowledge of mortgage market trends, interest rates, and regulatory changes.
